Job summary

Arnold Clark seeks a skilled mechanic to prepare customers’ cars for road use, performing servicing, repairs and maintenance with accuracy and care. You’ll work in a motivated team across a broad range of manufacturers, using up-to-date vehicle technologies and diagnostic equipment.

You will benefit from competitive pay (£40,000–£50,000 DOE), overtime with time-and-a-half, extensive leave, private healthcare, and opportunities for salary progression and performance bonuses.

Qualifications

• Certificate in Light Vehicle Maintenance Level 3.
• Full driving licence required.
• Strong communication and attention to detail essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, repairs and maintenance to high standards.
• Inspect engine and electrical components with diagnostic equipment to diagnose issues.
• Repair or replace defective parts and road test vehicles to check repairs.
