Job summary

Arnold Clark Burton Motorstore is seeking skilled automotive mechanics to join our team. You will safely service, repair and maintain a wide range of vehicles while adhering to high standards and deadlines.

We offer £40,000–£50,000 DOE plus benefits, with additional opportunity to earn up to £9,000 every three years in performance bonuses. Overtime is paid at time and a half, and you’ll enjoy 33 days leave, private healthcare and EV training to boost your skills.

Qualifications

• Certificate in Light Vehicle Maintenance Level 3 and solid automotive experience.
• Ability to work independently or in a busy team.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to meet deadlines and high standards.
• Proactive and enthusiastic approach, follow written/spoken instructions.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, repairs and maintenance to high standards.
• Inspect engine and mechanical/electrical components using diagnostic equipment.
• Repair or replace defective parts and carry out DVSA testing if authorised.
• Road test vehicles to check repairs and maintain equipment/tools.
• Complete documentation to required standard.
