Job summary

Arnold Clark in Inverness is recruiting a mechanic to safely prepare our customers’ cars for the road. You will service, repair and maintain vehicles, using diagnostic tools to pinpoint issues and ensure high-quality standards.

You’ll work with a wide range of manufacturers, stay current with latest vehicle technology and have the chance to progress with EV accreditation training. The role includes generous annual leave and flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Certificate in Light Vehicle Maintenance Level 3.
• Ability to work independently or in a busy team.
• Strong communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out servicing, repairs and maintenance to high standards.
• Inspecting engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues with diagnostic equipment.
• Repairing or replacing faulty parts and repairing or testing vehicles.
