Job summary

United Rentals Brigg seeks a capable Dispatcher/Transport Planner to coordinate deliveries and collections, plan transport activities and ensure fleet compliance while delivering excellent customer service.

You will work with the Field Service Foreman and Branch Operations Manager to ensure on-time, compliant, and safe equipment movements across the branch network, with strong IT and Excel use encouraged.

Qualifications

• Qualification in logistics, transport planning, dispatching, or related field (desired).
• Experience in transport scheduling or operational planning.
• Good understanding of ADR rules, driving rest time and local working time laws.

Responsibilities

• Delivery planning: coordinate customer deliveries and pickups and confirm times.
• Purchasing & operational support: raise orders and verify transport invoices.
• Administration & reporting: maintain ERP data and generate reports.
• Fleet & people management support: review tachograph data and coordinate inspections.
