Job summary

G MASS Consulting is seeking a client-facing SFTR specialist for a 12-month contract in London or Europe. You will work with senior subject-matter experts to resolve SFTR reporting issues, map source data to SFTR specs, and support resubmission of historic reporting for multiple clients.

You will analyse client data from systems such as BRS Aladdin, identify gaps, and assist in testing, UAT, and data remediation while keeping ESMA guidance in view.

Qualifications

• Hands-on SFTR reporting experience required.
• Background in regulatory reporting or business analysis in capital markets.
• Knowledge of SFTR fields, lifecycle events and reconciliations.
• Experience with back-reporting, remediation and UAT.
• Strong Excel skills; SQL and familiarity with BRS Aladdin, CRIMS or Thinkfolio a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail and client-facing confidence.

Responsibilities

• Support senior SMEs on client engagements providing hands-on SFTR analysis.
• Scope issues identified via audits, identifying affected trades and fields.
• Support back-reporting, preparing corrected and resubmitted historic transactions.
• Analyze client source datasets including BRS Aladdin to identify SFTR attributes.
• Map client data to SFTR spec and flag gaps and ambiguities.
• Investigate rejections, reconciliation breaks and pairing issues.
• Check scope against ESMA guidance under senior direction.
• Contribute to Business Requirements Documents and write test scripts.
• Run testing and UAT, record results, track issues to resolution.
• Participate in client working sessions and document outcomes.
• Provide clear summaries of analysis and engagement progress.
• Stay updated on SFTR and regulatory updates and flag impacts.
