Are you an experienced commercial professional working within scientific sales? Do you have experience working with distributors in the analytical equipment or gas generator markets? Are you seeking a new challenge with a rapidly growing specialist company in Europe?
Our client is a fast-growing, innovative business providing specialist services to clients in the scientific sector. Established over 20 years ago, they develop and produce tailored solutions for Nitrogen/Hydrogen generators used across various industries. Due to expansion, they are hiring a European Territory Sales Manager to join their team.
The role involves managing existing distributor clients to build relationships, upsell, and cross-sell to increase sales. You will also identify and establish new business with distributors in the UK and European regions, requiring extensive travel across Europe. Additionally, you will analyze sales data, report on channel performance, and collaborate with the service department to offer tailored solutions. The role is home-based, and you can be located anywhere in the UK.
Candidates should have sales experience selling to distributors in Europe, preferably with expertise in Nitrogen/LCMS, Hydrogen, or GC markets. Strong relationship-building skills, customer focus, and credibility are essential. You should be self-motivated, capable of planning and strategizing to meet sales targets, and possess excellent communication skills in English. Proficiency in other European languages is a plus. The ability to work independently and travel internationally (up to 50%) is required.
