Job summary

Computacenter seeks a European Chief Technologist to define the strategic direction for a key technology area across Europe. You will shape the vision, roadmaps and investment directions to keep the portfolio relevant and positioned for growth.

Working across our European businesses, you will coordinate with Country Units, Service Lines, partners and customers to translate market signals into priorities and actionable plans. This is a high-impact role across Datacenter.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in the IT industry, with deep technology knowledge and commercial awareness.
• Proven ability to develop technology strategy, vision and roadmaps in a complex business environment.
• Experience leading through influence in virtual teams across matrix structures.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the vision and strategy for a key technology area across Europe.
• Identify market shifts, customer needs and competitive trends, translating them into priorities and roadmaps.
• Shape portfolio direction and investment plans in collaboration with Service Line teams and wider stakeholders.
• Lead and influence virtual teams across Country Units and Service Lines to align on strategy, priorities and execution.
• Represent the technology area in European steering discussions and senior leadership forums.
• Create compelling thought leadership, customer messaging and strategic assets that support sales and growth.
• Engage with customers, partners and analysts to strengthen Computacenter’s market position and strategic relevance.
• Support major opportunities across the business by sharing insight, direction and technology expertise.
