Job summary

Computacenter AG & Co. oHG in the UK is seeking an European Chief Technologist to define the strategic direction for a major technology area across Europe.

You will shape roadmaps, invest in capabilities and lead virtual teams spanning multiple country units to drive growth and customer value. You will engage senior stakeholders, craft compelling technology narratives and ensure alignment with partners, customers and internal priorities.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience shaping technology strategy at European level.
• Proven ability to develop roadmaps and invest in strategic tech areas.
• Experience leading across matrix organisations and virtual teams.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the vision and strategy for a key technology area across Europe.
• Identify market shifts and translate them into priorities and roadmaps.
• Shape portfolio direction and investment plans with service lines and stakeholders.
• Lead virtual teams across country units to align on strategy and execution.
• Represent the technology area in European leadership forums.
• Create thought leadership and customer messaging to support growth.
• Engage with customers, partners and analysts to strengthen market position.
• Support major opportunities with insights and direction.
