Red Recruit Global Limited is expanding its Bristol office and seeking a proactive European Road Freight Operator to support the Branch Manager within the newly established European Exports team. You will manage client relationships, ensure shipments meet requirements, and maintain accurate documentation.

You will onboard new clients, track shipments, arrange insurance where needed, and handle claims, while negotiating rates and recording bookings.

Formación

• Minimum 1 year of experience in European road freight.
• Good customer service skills.
• Good numeracy and English skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Teams.
• Additional language skills would be beneficial.
• Strong organisational skills to track multiple shipments and schedules simultaneously.
• Clear communication with clients, overseas partners and carriers.
• Effective problem-solving when dealing with delayed cargo, route changes or customs holds.
• Confidence using logistics and shipment-tracking software.

Responsabilidades

Working as part of the European Exports team, in a newly established sales office for an international logistics company, you will assist the Branch Manager in developing and growing the Bristol branch. You will ensure all shipments are handled to the highest standards and meet customer requirements.

What you’ll do
