YOUR ROLE

Our European Finance team has an exciting opportunity for a data-savvy Financial Reporting Analyst who will oversee regional financial reporting and business intelligence tool testing to ensure concise, timely, and accurate data outputs for our Air & Ocean teams.

This pivotal role involves collaborating with a wide network of internal stakeholders, acting as a bridge between regional and in-country business controlling teams. We are seeking someone experienced in business intelligence and financial reporting, with strong relationship-building skills.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

• Retrieve and analyze data from legacy systems, building reports using BI tools.
• Create automated pathways for regular reports to optimize system capabilities.
• Build strong relationships with IT teams for system updates and testing.
• Understand freight forwarding activities to interpret data outputs.
• Serve as the main contact for regional reporting issues, implementing improvements.
• Streamline reporting processes and procedures to reduce risk and redundancy.
• Create and review work instructions for reports.
• Assist with ad-hoc projects and reports as needed.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Proven experience in data reporting and analytics, with knowledge of financial principles. Skilled in interpreting and presenting complex financial reports to diverse audiences. Proficiency in financial systems and BI tools, automating reports, and creating dashboards. Problem-solving and continuous improvement mindset, with stakeholder engagement skills.

Desirable: Power BI Data Analyst certification or equivalent.

This role is hybrid, based anywhere in the UK, with regular commuting to Ashby de la Zouch head office twice weekly.
