YOUR ROLE

Our European Finance team has an exciting opportunity for a data-savvy Financial Reporting Analyst who will oversee regional financial reporting and business intelligence tool testing to ensure concise, timely, and accurate data outputs for our Air & Ocean teams.

This pivotal role involves collaborating with a wide network of internal stakeholders, acting as a bridge between regional and in-country business controlling teams. We are seeking someone experienced in business intelligence and financial reporting, capable of building strong working relationships.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

• Retrieve and analyze data from legacy systems, building reports using BI tools.
• Create automated pathways for regular reports to maximize system capabilities.
• Build strong relationships with IT teams for system updates and testing.
• Understand freight forwarding activities to interpret data outputs.
• Serve as the key contact for regional reporting issues, implementing improvements.
• Simplify reporting processes, mitigating risks and redundancies.
• Create and review work instructions for reports.
• Assist in ad-hoc projects or reports as needed.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Proven experience in data reporting and analytics, with knowledge of financial principles. Skilled in manipulating reports, automating, and creating dashboards. A problem solver with a continuous improvement mindset, able to work with diverse stakeholders.

Desirable but not essential: Power BI Data Analyst certification or equivalent.

This role is hybrid, based anywhere in the UK, with a regular commute to Ashby de la Zouch head office two days a week.
