Your Role

Our European Finance team has an exciting opportunity for a data-savvy Financial Reporting Analyst to oversee regional financial reporting and business intelligence tool testing, ensuring concise, timely, and accurate data outputs for our Air & Ocean teams.

This pivotal role involves collaborating with a wide network of internal stakeholders, acting as a bridge between regional and in-country business controlling teams. We are looking for someone experienced in business intelligence and financial reporting, with strong relationship-building skills.

What You Will Do

• Retrieve and analyze data from legacy systems, building reports using BI tools.
• Create automated pathways for regular reports to enhance system capabilities.
• Build relationships with IT teams for system updates and testing.
• Understand freight forwarding activities to interpret data effectively.
• Be the key contact for reporting issues and improvements.
• Simplify reporting processes, mitigating risks and redundancies.
• Create and review work instructions for reports.
• Assist with ad-hoc projects and reports as needed.

What We Are Looking For

Proven experience in data reporting and analytics, knowledge of financial principles, and ability to interpret complex financial reports. Skilled in financial systems and BI tools, with experience automating reports and creating dashboards. A problem solver with a continuous improvement mindset and stakeholder management skills. Power BI Data Analyst certification or equivalent is desirable.

This role is hybrid, based anywhere in the UK, with regular commuting to Ashby de la Zouch.
