ICIS is seeking a Computational Energy Pricing Specialist to join our editorial and data science teams. You will combine energy market analysis, price reporting, and data science to help assess European gas and power markets while supporting innovative pricing methodologies and analytical tools.

You’ll work closely with subject matter experts to deliver trusted market intelligence, enhance pricing processes, and contribute to the future of energy market transparency.

Qualificações

• Python coding skills with experience using common data‑analysis libraries and version control.
• Excellent numerical accuracy and the ability to interrogate complex datasets.
• Knowledge of commodity markets or energy markets is desirable.
• Clear written and spoken English; ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
• Curious, collaborative and accountable in a fast‑paced environment.

Responsabilidades

• Assess prices and explain market drivers across a portfolio of European energy markets.
• Contribute to clear, timely market commentary and data‑led analysis.
• Develop Python code and applications to automate data gathering, quality checks, calculations and pricing workflows.
• Lead model maintenance, development and documentation, testing and deployment of enhancements.
• Translate market expertise into model assumptions and communication of methodologies and outputs to stakeholders.
