ICIS in London is seeking a Computational Energy Pricing Specialist to join our editorial and data science teams. You will combine energy market analysis, price reporting, and data science to assess European gas and power markets while supporting pricing methodologies and analytical tools.

You will work with subject matter experts to deliver trusted market intelligence, enhance pricing processes, and contribute to energy market transparency for our global customers.

Qualifikationen

• Proficient Python programming and data-analysis libraries.
• Strong numerical skills and ability to interrogate large datasets.
• Knowledge of commodity markets or energy pricing is desirable.
• Clear written and spoken English; ability to explain technical concepts.
• Curious, collaborative, and able to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Aufgaben

• Assess prices and explain market drivers across European energy markets.
• Contribute to market commentary and data-led analysis.
• Develop Python code and applications to automate data gathering, quality checks, calculations and pricing workflows.
• Lead model maintenance, development and deployment including testing and documentation.
• Translate market expertise into model assumptions and communicate outputs to stakeholders.
