Job summary

CFO Insights is seeking an operations professional to own the end-to-end execution of 10 European private equity conferences a year from London HQ. You will manage venues, suppliers, on-site teams and the attendee experience.

This role blends hands-on delivery with strategic oversight, requires calm under deadlines, meticulous attention to detail, and a hands-on approach to leading a 40-person volunteer crew. Training is provided and career progression is strong within the company.

Qualifications

• No specific previous work experience required; training is provided.
• UK work permit required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Source, compare, and select suppliers for conference needs and add-ons.
• Negotiate contracts with venues and suppliers to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
• Coordinate with venue staff and on-site teams for smooth event delivery.
• Provide on-site support during conferences and manage volunteer deployment.
• Maintain event inventory and track supplies across projects.
• Quality check banners, signage, and promotional materials.
• Hire, train, and manage a 40-person volunteers team.
