Job summary

Essential Employment in Oxford is seeking an EUD Engineer for a temporary, full-time position at a daily rate of £250. You will build, configure, deploy and support end-user devices (laptops, desktops, tablets and mobiles) and manage endpoint platforms such as Microsoft Intune, SCCM/MECM and Microsoft Endpoint Manager.

Responsibilities include 2nd/3rd line hardware, software and OS support, supporting Microsoft 365 services, device patching, monitoring compliance, and working with service desks

• Provide 2nd and 3rd line technical support for hardware, software and OS issues.
• Support Microsoft 365 technologies including Azure AD, Entra ID, Exchange Online, Teams and OneDrive.
• Manage software deployment, patch management and OS upgrades.
• Monitor device compliance, security and performance per policies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues within service levels.
• Support IT projects involving device refreshes, migrations and workplace tech improvements.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation, procedures and knowledge articles.
• Work closely with service desk, infrastructure engineers and third-party suppliers to resolve issues and improve services.
