Jane Street in London is seeking a Compliance Analyst to join the Regulatory Disclosures and Reporting team. You will collaborate with business groups across the firm to identify and meet UK/EU disclosure obligations that apply to Jane Street's European activities.

You will gain exposure to a global trading business, building a deep understanding of UK, EU, and international regulations while acting as a point of contact for traders on how these rules apply to their activity.

Qualifikationen

• Have an undergraduate degree and 1+ years of professional experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with sound judgement.

Aufgaben

• Support compliance with EU and UK position reporting requirements, including monitoring positions, preparing and submitting disclosures and reviewing disclosure obligations (e.g. under the EU Short Selling Regulation, Transparency Directive and UK Takeover Code)
• Help trading desks understand the disclosure requirements that apply to their trading
• Analyse new and changing regulations, assessing their impact on the firm and translating them into clear business requirements
• Work with in-house developers to improve the compliance tools and systems used
• Identify ways to make the team's controls and processes more efficient
• Respond promptly and accurately to queries from internal and external parties
