Job summary

TipTopJob is seeking a Data Focused EU Road Freight Coordinator to join its Bristol office. The role centres on managing European road freight shipments from booking through to delivery, acting as the main client contact and ensuring accurate records and documentation.

Immediate start is preferred. Candidate should have at least 1 year in European road freight, strong customer service skills, and the ability to handle multiple shipments while maintaining high data quality.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience in European road freight.
• Strong customer service and relationship management skills.
• Ability to organise and monitor multiple shipments simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive approach to troubleshooting and problem solving.
• Ability to make confident decisions and take ownership of work.
• Good numeracy and English language skills.
• Strong attention to data accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Act as a dedicated contact for clients and provide regular shipment updates.
• Track multiple shipments and monitor delivery schedules.
• Support onboarding of new clients and contribute to Bristol operation growth.
• Negotiate rates and book cargo space with carriers.
• Enter and maintain accurate shipment information in internal systems.
• Verify invoices and prepare required import/export documentation.
• Obtain proof of delivery and arrange cargo insurance when needed.
• Resolve delays and operational issues to meet client requirements.
