Job summary

Sodexo in Ashford, Kent is seeking an EU Major Incident Manager (Swedish speaking) to own high-priority incidents from identification to resolution in a fast-paced, international environment. You will coordinate technical teams, service providers and business stakeholders to restore services quickly, communicate clearly, and drive decisive action throughout the incident lifecycle.

• Proven experience in Major Incident Management (ITIL-based processes).
• Strong understanding of ITIL best practices and incident lifecycle.
• Ability to lead complex incidents with multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent communication to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Fluency in Swedish is highly desirable.
• Experience in complex, highly available IT environments.

We're looking for a Swedish-speaking IT professional to join our dynamic team and play a critical role in safeguarding business services across multiple European markets.

Your Role

As our EU Major Incident Manager, you will:

• Take ownership of high-priority incidents from identification through to resolution.
• Bring together technical teams, service providers, and business stakeholders to restore services quickly and minimize disruption.
• Be at the center of critical decision-making, ensuring clear communication, strong coordination, and effective leadership throughout the incident lifecycle.
• Lead post-incident reviews to identify root causes and implement improvements that strengthen service resilience.

What We're Looking For

We seek someone with:

• Proven experience in Major Incident Management.
• A strong understanding of ITIL best practices.
• The confidence to lead complex incidents involving multiple stakeholders.
• Exceptional communication skills to provide clear updates to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Fluency in Swedish is highly desirable.
• Experience working within complex, highly available IT environments.

Working Conditions

This hybrid role is based in Ashford, Kent, with occasional travel for meetings, site visits, and team events. You will also participate in an out-of-hours on-call rota, supported by an on-call allowance.
