The role and the team

You will be joining the accounts payable team, which works closely with carriers and carrier reps to investigate payment queries and request documents while making daily payments. As a specialist, you will be responsible for completing all work within your assigned role with a high degree of accuracy, following company policies and basic accounting principles. You will be part of a friendly, collaborative team that values hard work and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Creating all payments within Oracle Cloud and manually on banking platforms – approximately 12 payments per day.
  2. Managing all SG&A invoices from approval to submission and payment.
  3. Managing vendor and supplier details as required.
  4. Monitoring unvouchered items to ensure documents are received promptly and correctly.
  5. Opening, reviewing, and distributing all physical mail.
  6. Managing incidents on existing loads and escalating when necessary.
  7. Collaborating with internal representatives to resolve carrier/vendor complaints.
  8. Reviewing carrier statements regularly to ensure creditor balances are accurate.
  9. Responding to queries via shared inboxes from internal and external parties.
  10. Performing other duties as assigned based on business needs.

Required Skills, Qualifications & Experiences

  • Excellent communication skills—speaking with vendors and suppliers over the phone and via email.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities to critically resolve issues as they arise.
  • Organizational skills, including prioritization and time management.
  • Fluency in English.
