Job summary

Flex Legal is seeking an experienced Business Ethics & Compliance Manager to join its Legal & Business Affairs function in Cambridge for an initial six-month assignment.

The role covers ABC programme management, due diligence, advisory, training, and reporting to senior leadership. You will engage with product groups, shared services, and board-level audiences to promote a strong ethics culture. The position requires office presence at Cambridge two days per week.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–7 years in compliance or ethics roles within regulated environments.
• Strong knowledge of ABC controls, sanctions, conflicts of interest.
• Experience engaging with senior stakeholders and boards.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day delivery of the Anti-Bribery & Corruption programme.
• Review high-risk third-party due diligence and escalate issues.
• Provide compliance advisory on conflicts of interest, gifts, and sanctions.
• Advise senior stakeholders including Boards on compliance risks.
• Deliver or support training to embed ethics culture.
• Support risk assessments, audits, and reporting to senior leadership.
