Job summary

Novax Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Estimator for its Barnsley operation. The role involves turning enquiries into commercially viable proposals, pricing from drawings and specs, and coordinating tender activity with clients and internal teams.

You will work across project enquiries, manage deadlines, and build relationships with clients while leveraging your knowledge of structural steel practices. A technical or engineering background is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in estimating within construction or steel sector.
• Ability to interpret drawings and technical specs.
• Strong commercial awareness and client-focused approach.
• Experience communicating with clients and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Assess enquiries and identify viable steelwork schemes.
