Job summary

Mitchell Maguire Limited is recruiting an Estimator Sheeting & Cladding to manage industrial and commercial roofing projects from enquiry to quotation. The role may involve site visits across the South East and requires accurate measurement, tender preparation, and strong client liaison.

You will use established processes to quote, document, and track tenders, ensuring compliance with building regulations and deadlines. A comprehensive benefits package is provided.

Qualifications

• Estimating experience with roof sheeting, commercial roofing or cladding.
• Experience producing tenders and quotations from internal databases.
• Site surveys and measurements to compile quotation information.
• Liaising with clients to obtain required information and with suppliers for prices.
• Knowledge of current building regulations.

Responsibilities

• Promote a range of Industrial & Commercial Roofing projects.
• Handle inbound project enquiries and review scopes of work.
• May visit sites across the South East for surveys.
• Maintain tender/quotation records in internal system.
• Build and maintain contractor/vendor relationships.

The role of the Estimator Sheeting & Cladding will involve:

• Estimator position promoting a range of Industrial & Commercial Roofing projects
• Dealing with inbound project enquiries and reviewing scopes of work
• May be a requirement to visit sites across the South East
• Keep good documentation of tenders and quotations on internal database
• Build and maintain relationships with contractors and vendors
• Carrying out site surveys and measurements to compile further information for quotation
• Liaising with clients to acquire any additional information as required
• Liaise with suppliers and manufactures to obtain competitive prices
• Producing formal quotations to clients
• May be required to do tasks outside of estimating to assist the team
• Prioritising workload to ensure deadlines are met

The ideal applicant will be an Estimator Sheeting & Cladding with:

• Must have Estimating experience with roof sheeting, commercial roofing, cladding or a closely related product / system
• Highly advantageous to have experience using Kingspan, TATA or CA Groups products or systems
• Preferable to have surveying experience for site visits]
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Understanding of current building regulations
• Strong character thats not afraid to help the team when necessary
• Confident and articulate
