Job summary

Mitchell Maguire is seeking an Operations Manager for Passive Fire Protection in Wilmslow. You will oversee dry riser fire protection systems across education, residential, offices and commercial sites, liaising with subcontractors and clients to deliver cost-effective solutions.

The role requires experience in fire protection systems, project management and strong Excel skills, with a discretionary bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience with fire sprinklers, dry risers, or related systems.
• Experience in design, install, project management or operations.
• Understanding of BS999 would be advantageous.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Team player with collaboration.
• Highly organized.

Responsibilities

• Oversee dry riser systems across education, residential, offices and commercial sites.
• Liaise with subcontractors on new dry riser installations.
• Produce and review quotations to ensure cost-effectiveness.
• Build relationships with subcontractors, suppliers and clients.
• Conduct risk and value management.
• Collaborate with senior management.
• Own costing of quotations and tender returns.
• Estimate projects from £5k to £2m.
