Job summary

ARV Solutions Contracts is seeking an experienced Estimator - Mass Timber Projects to join our timber frame team in Bedfordshire. You will produce detailed quotations from drawings, ensure tenders are on time, and provide technical advice to customers and suppliers.

The role covers residential and commercial timber projects across the UK, with hybrid working on offer and a salary of 50,000 - 60,000 GBP DOE.

Qualifications

• Experience estimating timber or mass timber projects.
• Ability to read construction drawings.
• Strong communication with clients and suppliers.
• Proficient with MS Office and take-offs.

Are you an experienced estimator with a background estimating timber projects?

Would you like to work for a business who operate across both residential & commercial projects?

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a business who are delivering timber projects across the UK. You will be responsible for producing detail quotes to ensure you are meeting both the customers & the businesses requirements. Your background in construction will be essential as you will be expected to provide technical advice to customers & suppliers.

Your responsibilities as a Estimator

• Produce detailed quotations from construction drawings
• Ensure tenders are submitted on time to a high standard
• Liaise with all other departments within the business
• Attend pre start meetings with architects & clients

We would welcome conversations with estimators who:

• Have a background estimating within either the engineered timber or timber frame industries (Ideally CLT, Glulam, mass timber projects)
• Are able to read from construction design drawings
• Can communicate across all levels to ensure commercial targets are met
• Possess a strong understanding of different software packages, specifically MS Office
