Job summary

Regional Recruitment Ltd is recruiting for an Estimator to join a well-established construction contractor in Birmingham. The role focuses on preparing accurate cost estimates, reviewing tender documents, and liaising with clients and suppliers to support profitable project delivery.

You will analyse drawings and documentation, produce take-offs, and maintain cost data while working with the project, commercial, and operations teams. Immediate start and DOE salary on offer.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Estimator in construction
• Strong understanding of methods, materials and processes
• Ability to interpret technical drawings/specifications
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and estimating software
• Full UK Driving Licence

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate cost estimates and tender submissions for construction projects

• Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations

Are you an experienced Construction Estimator?

Regional Recruitment are recruiting for an Estimator to join a well-established and growing construction contractor. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially aware and detail-focused professional to play a key role in securing and delivering construction projects across multiple sectors. You will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, reviewing tender documentation, liaising with clients and suppliers, and supporting the successful delivery of profitable projects.

Qualifications

Essential:

• Previous experience as an Estimator within the construction industry
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials and processes
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and estimating software
• Full UK Driving Licence

Desirable:

• HNC/HND or Degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or related discipline
• Experience across commercial, industrial, residential or fit-out projects
• Knowledge of JCT Contracts
• Membership of a relevant professional body (RICS, CIOB, etc.)

• Keep up to date with market rates, materials and industry trends.
• Ensure all records and estimating information are maintained to company standards.
