Job summary

Approach Personnel Ltd is recruiting for an experienced Construction Estimator for a full-time, permanent role in the East Midlands. Salary up to £75,000 depending on experience.

You will prepare detailed estimates, read drawings, obtain quotes, and support project delivery across clients and subcontractors. The ideal candidate has proven estimating experience in commercial or industrial construction, strong maths and communication skills, and proficiency with estimating software and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials and processes.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications and project documentation.
• Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Construction Estimator

We are delighted to be recruiting for an exciting opportunity for an experienced Construction Estimator to join one of our clients on a full-time, permanent basis.

Based in the East Midlands, this is an excellent opportunity to join a successful and growing construction business, with a salary of up to £75,000, dependent on experience.

The Role

As a Construction Estimator, you will play a key role in preparing accurate and competitive estimates and tenders, working closely with clients, consultants, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams to support successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates, tender pricing and bid submissions
• Review and interpret drawings, specifications and project documentation

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant estimating software
• The ability to work effectively under pressure and consistently meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
