Job summary

Damicor Ltd in Northampton is seeking an experienced Estimator to join our growing fit-out team. You will produce detailed estimates and tenders for commercial interior projects and help secure new work.

The role collaborates with pre-construction and commercial teams; your duties include reviewing drawings, pricing, obtaining subcontractor quotations, and maintaining cost databases. Salary £55,000 - £60,000, and a full-time, site-based role with progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Estimator within the fit-out/interiors or construction sector.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications and tender documentation.
• Experience obtaining and negotiating subcontractor/supplier quotations.
• Strong IT and estimating skills.

Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Estimator to join our team and play a key role in securing and delivering new projects.

The Role

As Estimator, you will be responsible for producing accurate and competitive estimates and tenders across a range of commercial fit-out projects.

Working closely with the commercial and pre-construction teams, you will analyse tender information, obtain subcontractor and supplier quotations, and ensure projects are priced accurately and competitively.

About You

We are looking for an experienced Estimator with a strong background in commercial fit out, interiors, refurbishment or construction.

You will ideally have:

• Proven experience as an Estimator within the fit-out/interiors or construction sector
• Strong understanding of commercial fit-out projects and construction methods
• Excellent attention to detail and a commercially minded approach
• The ability to interpret drawings, specifications and tender documentation
• Experience obtaining and negotiating subcontractor/supplier quotations
• Strong IT and estimating skills
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• The ability to work independently while also being a strong team player
• A proactive approach with the confidence to challenge, question and identify opportunities
