Job summary

Mitchell Maguire is seeking an Estimator for Fire Doors & Passive Fire Protection based in Kent with hybrid working. You will cover projects across the South East and Midlands, promoting a high-quality range of fire doors and passive fire protection products for commercial, local authorities, social housing and education sectors.

Qualifications

• Must have estimating experience within fire stopping, fire doors or fire protection.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across all levels.
• High level of organisation and diligence.

Responsibilities

• Visit projects weekly across the South East and Midlands.
• Liaise with clients, suppliers and internal teams during estimating.
• Analyse drawings, specifications and tender documents to determine costs.
• Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers/subcontractors.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions.
• Maintain records of estimates, bids, and project documentation.
• Manage projects up to £200k.
