Job summary
Oadby Plastics Limited in Leicestershire is seeking an Estimator to support our sales and production teams by preparing accurate quotations for machined parts. You will work from technical drawings and customer requirements to calculate costs and deliver estimates on time, helping convert enquiries into orders.
The successful candidate will have experience in estimating within engineering/manufacturing, a solid understanding of CNC routing and milling, CAD drawing ability, and strong IT,
Qualifications
- Experience in estimating within engineering/manufacturing.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings.
- Familiarity with CNC routing, milling and machining processes.
- Cost analysis and material/labour calculation experience.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
Responsibilities
- Prepare estimates from technical drawings and samples.
- Produce CAD drawings using CAD software.
- Calculate material, labour and machining costs.
- Liaise with customers, sales and production teams.
- Manage multiple estimates and meet deadlines.
