Job summary

Mitchell Maguire is seeking an Estimator – Bespoke Joinery in Leicester. You will manage high-end bespoke commercial and residential joinery projects, from tender review to BOQ creation, ensuring timely quotations.

The role emphasizes drawing interpretation, accurate costing and strong client communication. You'll work on bespoke desks, panels, furniture and surfaces, coordinating with contractors and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Experience as an Estimator in bespoke joinery projects.
• Ability to interpret drawings and client specifications.
• Strong numerical, analytical and commercial skills; IT literate (Excel).

Responsibilities

• Review tender enquiries to determine scope and deadlines.
• Produce BOQs from drawings for timely quotations.
• Maintain tender/quotation records on internal system; respond to queries.
• Build relationships with contractors and suppliers; manage large projects up to £750k.

The role of the Estimator – Bespoke Joinery will involve:

• Estimator position dealing with a high end range of bespoke commercial & residential joinery projects (desks, panelling, furniture, cabinets and surfaces)
• Review tender enquiries to determine scope of works and project deadlines
• Working on projects where each product/system is unique and therefore requires a bespoke approach
• Taking details from drawings to produce BOQs allowing for a timely return of quotations for customer deadlines
• Keep good documentation of tenders and quotations on internal database
• Contact customers dealing with queries and providing additional technical information
• Establish and maintain relationships with contractors and suppliers
• Managing large projects up-to a value of £750k

The ideal applicant will be an Estimator – Bespoke Joinery with:

• Must have experience as an Estimator working within the bespoke joinery sector
• Highly advantageous to have commercial joinery experience
• Strong technical understanding of drawings and client specifications
• Ability to interpret project requirements and translate them into accurate cost plans.
• Strong numerical, analytical and commercial skills.
• IT Literate particularly excel
