Job summary

Doufre Construction, a Reading-based Sub Contractor in the Flat Roofing sector, is seeking an Estimator to join the team. The role centres on take-offs and tender preparation for flat roofing, single ply membranes and liquid waterproofing.

The ideal candidate will have a background in estimating and be comfortable using estimating software and Bluebeam, with strong analytical and relationship-building skills. This is a full-time, office-based role from Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Strong background in estimating and materials take-offs is preferred.
• Proven ability to liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Experience with Bluebeam and estimating software is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Perform take-offs using Bluebeam and Excel.
• Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders to gather information.
• Proactively chase tenders and information to support bids.

Our client who are specialist a Sub Contractor within the Flat Roofing industry are seeking an Estimator to join the team.

The ideal candidate will have a background in flat roofing, single ply membrane and liquid waterproofing.

Candidates who have previously worked on the tools, or within site management or project management roles and would like to move into estimating could be a good fit or likewise Estimators who may like to move into a new industry.

• Performing take offs using Bluebeam and Excel
• Ability to liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders
• Proactive approach in chasing up tenders and information

Key Skills:

• Knowledge of Flat Roofing advantageous
• Analytical and good relationship builder
• Previous use of Estimating software
