OUTSOURCE CONSTRUCTION LTD is seeking an experienced Estimator for its West London team. The role concentrates on preparing accurate tenders for internal finishes packages across commercial fit-out and major projects, collaborating with commercial and operational teams to win new business.

You will oversee drawings and technical specifications, manage the full tender process, and mentor junior estimators while delivering competitive pricing and value engineering where appropriate.

Our client is an established and growing internal stone finishes subcontractor delivering high-quality solutions across commercial, residential, and mixed-use developments throughout London. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Estimator to join their team in West London team.

The Role

As a Estimator, you will play a key role in the pre-construction team, responsible for preparing accurate and competitive tenders for internal finishes packages for projects across the commercial fit out / major projects sectors. You will work closely with commercial and operational teams to ensure successful project acquisition.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for internal finishes packages
• Analyse drawings, specifications, and tender documents
• Manage the full tender process from enquiry through to submission
• Liaise with clients, main contractors, and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing
• Identify value engineering opportunities and risk factors
• Support bid strategy and contribute to winning new business
• Mentor junior estimators where required

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Estimator within the internal stone finishes sector
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and pricing
• Previous experience overseeing other members of the Estimating team.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Excellent commercial awareness and attention to detail
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Proficient in estimating software and Excel
