Job description

We are looking for an Estimator who wants to work in a diverse role where no two days are the same.

Due to an increase in upcoming projects, there is now a need for an Estimator to join this highly successful and forward-thinking organisation.

Our client is one of the largest facilities management and maintenance contractors in the UK, offering market leading opportunities for talented professionals looking for long term career progression.

As the Estimator, you be working as part of the estimating team to generate quotations for the water, air and fire service lines. You will be working on the provision of technical estimating support to provide high quality documentations and create quotations to cover required works.

The Estimator will be responsible for:

• Producing remedial works quotations to the highest standards as well as reviewing and interpreting requests and create a quotation to cover the required works.
• You will react promptly to reactive works requests, ensure client SLAs are met whilst logging documents to the internal tracking system. You will also:
• Hold a complete understanding of agreed rates and contract specifics.
• Maintain an open line of communication between the estimators and other departments.
• Share responsibility of inboxes and responding to incoming emails in a timely manner

To be successful in this Estimator role, you must have:

• 1-2 years experience working in an Estimating role or as an Estimator.
• A good level of IT skills using Microsoft Office in particular Excel as well as fantastic oral and written communication skills.
• Experience working within the estimating or quoting would be advantageous but it is not essential and training will be provided.
• You will also be able to work within a busy environment both within a team and also independently without supervision.
