Ernest Gordon Recruitment is partnering with a leading steel fabrication specialist in Kirkcaldy to recruit an Estimator. The role is office-based with occasional site visits, handling pricing from CAD drawings and managing projects from £10k to £1,000,000.

You will produce estimates, price tenders, and contribute to a team focused on accuracy and efficiency. Monday-Friday 8am-5pm with training and progression toward Estimating Manager or Project Manager.

Qualifications

• Estimation and pricing skills for steel fabrication projects.
• Ability to interpret CAD drawings to prepare component estimates.
• Experience in construction or steelworks is advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Produce estimates and pricing for steelwork components from CAD drawings.
• Estimate steelwork projects ranging from £10k to £1,000,000.
• Attend local site visits as required and use company vehicle.

Are you an Estimator with experience in construction or steelworks looking to join an established steel fabricators offering an office-based role with occasional site visits and opportunities to progress into Estimating Manager or Project Manager?

This market-leading steel specialist is one of Scotland's biggest and established companies boasting state-of-the-art machinery and equipment supplying to the commercial industry and house builders. After continued growth, they are looking for an Estimator to join their tight-knit team and become one of their go-to experts.

In this role you will primarily be office based with occasional local site visits using a company vehicle. This role will include estimating a wide range of projects from a couple thousand to a couple million pounds. You will be taking inbound enquiries and pricing projects on a day-to-day basis.

This role would suite an Estimator from the steelworks or construction industry looking to join an established bespoke fabrication expert offering real progress to managerial positions.

The Role:

• Produce Estimates and pricings of components based on CAD drawings.
• Estimating steelwork projects between £10k-£1,000,000
• Monday - Friday (8am-5pm)
• Mainly office based however occasional site visits

The Person:

• Estimator or similar within construction or steelworks
• Willing to commute to office in Kirkcaldy
