Job summary

The Highfield Company is seeking a Senior Estimator for Edinburgh area projects. You will own estimating across large-scale infrastructure and structural steel packages, working with Tier 1 contractors on bids, tenders, and negotiated work.

This role offers scope to grow into line leadership with autonomy, and a mix of on-site work with potential hybrid arrangements. Experience in take-offs and pricing strategy is essential.

ROLE: Senior Estimator

Are you an experienced structural steel estimator looking for your next challenge?

We're representing a highly regarded, forward-thinking steel fabrication business with an outstanding reputation across major infrastructure and a strong pipeline of high-profile work. They're looking for a Senior Estimator to take ownership of estimating activity on large-scale structural steel packages, working directly with Tier 1 main contractors on bids, tenders, and negotiated projects.

There's genuine scope here to grow the role - for the right person, this could develop into leading and shaping the estimating function, with real autonomy and input at senior level.

Working arrangement is primarily on-site, with hybrid working potentially available for the right candidate - a set-up that would need to work for both you and the client, so this is one to discuss directly rather than assume.

The Role
