We are currently recruiting an Estates Technician to support Northumberland College at the Ashington Campus. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced estates, maintenance, facilities or building services professional to join a busy estates team within a Further Education environment.
The Role: As an Estates Technician, you will support the day-to-day operation, maintenance and upkeep of the college estate, ensuring buildings, facilities and grounds remain safe, secure and fit for purpose for students, staff and visitors.
You will work on a rotating shift pattern:
Early Shift 6:00am - 2:00pm
Late Shift Monday & Wednesday: 10:30am - 6:30pm
Tuesday & Thursday: 1:30pm - 9:30pm
Friday: 11:00am - 6:30pm
Initially, the successful candidate will rotate between one week of early shifts and one week of late shifts. Once the Estates Team reaches full staffing levels, a day shift (8:00am - 4:00pm) may also be introduced into the rotation.
