Job summary

Education Partnership North East is seeking an Estates team member to support day-to-day operations across Sunderland College campuses. You will assist in delivering estates and facilities services, ensuring safety, cleanliness and a welcoming environment for learners and staff.

The role requires hands-on work, flexibility, and the ability to handle varied tasks from opening premises to basic repairs. Experience in estates or facilities is beneficial, with the opportunity to contribute to a busy

Qualifications

• A valid UK driving licence and the ability to travel between sites to cover a shift system between 06:00 and 23:00.
• Use of hand tools and basic trade skills (plumbing, joinery, painting, etc.).
• Willingness to learn and work in a busy estates environment.

Responsibilities

• Opening and securing of college premises.
• Carrying out basic repairs.
• Completion of planned preventive maintenance schedules.
• Setting up furniture as and when required.
• Removal of litter and waste daily.
• Supervision of contractors and visitors.
