Job summary

Network IT is seeking a Head of Estates based in the United Kingdom on a six-month contract inside IR35. The role sets strategic direction for security and estates management, advising the Chief Executive on decisions covering estates, health and safety, fire and security.

Hybrid working is available. The post-holder will lead estates delivery of FM services through DIO contracts and manage security, health and safety and fire teams, ensuring governance and compliance with legal and Government

Qualifications

• Must have leadership experience in estates management.
• Experience with security, health and safety, and fire compliance.

Responsibilities

• Support governance at the highest level and assure the implementation of security, facilities management, health and safety and fire processes.
• Lead estates delivery of hard and soft FM services through DIO contracts and appointed contractors.
• Line management of Security, Estates, Health and Safety and Fire teams.
• Strategic planning for site and facilities, setting the site strategy to meet current and future needs.
• Act as lead customer for hard and soft FM services via third party provider.
• Strategic oversight of implementation of mandatory security requirements.
• Advise Director of Finance and Corporate Services and ELT on FM, health & safety and fire matters.
• Assure CEO/Board on Health, Safety and Fire requirements.
• Responsible for all Estates and Security related risks.
• Lead development of the site strategy and improvement works via DIO.
