Job summary

Athena Care Homes Ltd is seeking an Estates Surveyor and Health & Safety Lead to oversee the property portfolio, advise on estates surveying, and spearhead safety compliance across multiple homes in the East Anglia region. You will manage planned and reactive works, budgets, and contractor performance.

The role requires professional qualifications in estates or facilities management, a NEBOSH certificate, and strong project management capabilities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in estates, property or facilities management across multiple sites.
• Strong knowledge of property compliance and health & safety legislation.
• Ability to assess building conditions and prioritise remedial works.
• Full, valid UK driving licence; travel between homes as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide estates surveying advice and manage planned and reactive works.
• Lead health and safety arrangements across Athena Care Homes.
• Oversee audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
• Manage budgets and contractor relationships across a multi-site portfolio.
