Job summary

Athena Care Homes is seeking an Estates Surveyor and Health & Safety Lead to manage and improve the property's portfolio across East Anglia. You will provide surveying advice, oversee planned and reactive works, and drive health and safety across homes to ensure safe, compliant environments for residents and staff.

The role requires professional qualifications in building or estates management, NEBOSH certification, and experience across multiple sites, with strong project and budget skills.

Qualifications

• Professional qualifications in building, surveying, construction, estates or facilities management or equivalent experience.
• Recognised Health & Safety qualification such as NEBOSH General Certificate.
• Membership of CIOB or equivalent body.
• Experience in estates, property or facilities management across multiple sites.
• Experience leading Health & Safety compliance, audits, inspections and risk management.
• Experience managing subcontractors and delivering planned maintenance and capital projects.
• Knowledge of property compliance, H&S legislation, risk management and contractor management.
• Ability to assess building conditions and communicate technical information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Estates surveying and property management across the portfolio.

• Manage budgets and resources for estates activities.
• Lead projects from planning to delivery.
