Job summary

Vision West Nottinghamshire College is seeking an Estates Project Manager on a fixed-term basis for two years. The role focuses on managing building projects within the college's estates, ensuring delivery within budget and timescales, and maintaining the integrity of the estate.

You will oversee contractors across mechanical, electrical and structural works, while coordinating delivery and quality, and using IT tools including the Microsoft suite.

Salary The salary will be VBSS Specialist 3 £46,764 per annum.

We are seeking to appoint a driven and energetic Project Manager to join our Estates Team at West Nottinghamshire College. The Estates Team manage the College premises and physical resources, whilst focusing on enhancing the learning environment of our learners and maintaining the integrity of the estate.

The successful candidate will be responsible for building projects (mechanical, electrical and structural) within the college’s portfolio of sites, ensuring the planned works remain within available budgets constraints & timescales. You will oversee contractors undertaking both minor and major building works whist establishing delivery and quality.

We are looking for someone who has excellent Project Management skills, IT skills (specifically Microsoft suite) and sound management skills. It is essential that you have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, can work as part of a team and have a flexible, adaptable and positive attitude.
