Job summary

Ashby Jenkins Recruitment Ltd seeks an Estates Project Manager to co-ordinate a major redevelopment project for a hospice charity. You will take ownership from brief and business case through to commissioning and handover, appointing and managing external consultants and contractors.

You will establish governance, oversee planning and approvals, and manage timelines, budgets and risks while working closely with Trustees and senior stakeholders to shape the future estate.

Qualifications

• Substantial experience delivering complex capital, estates, refurbishment or redevelopment projects from inception through to completion.
• Knowledge of construction project delivery, procurement, building regulations, health and safety, and statutory compliance.
• Excellent programme, budget, risk and stakeholder management with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Act as client-side lead for a major redevelopment project from brief to handover.
• Appoint and manage external consultants and contractors.

We have a great opportunity for an Estates Project Manager to co-ordinate a significant redevelopment project This is a rare opportunity to take ownership of a major capital programme that will directly support the future delivery of vital care services.
As part of this exciting role, you will act as the charity's client-side lead for a major redevelopment project, taking responsibility from the development of the brief and business case through to completion, commissioning and handover. You will appoint and manage external consultants and contractors, establish robust governance processes, oversee planning and statutory approvals, manage programme timelines, budgets and risks. Working closely with senior leadership, Trustees and operational stakeholders, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the organisation's future estate.
To be successful as the Estates Project Manager you will need:

• Substantial experience delivering complex capital, estates, refurbishment or redevelopment projects from inception through to completion.
• Strong knowledge of construction project delivery, procurement, building regulations, health and safety requirements and statutory compliance.
• Excellent programme, budget, risk and stakeholder management skills, with experience leading multidisciplinary professional teams and external contractors.
