National Highways is seeking an Estates Net Zero Project Support Lead to join the Energy and Sustainability team within the Business Services Directorate. The role supports the decarbonisation of our estate, including offices, depots, outstations and regional control centres, through data-driven energy reduction and smart systems deployment.

Qualifications

• Experience of working in project delivery with knowledge of CDM principles.
• Experience managing and influencing internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience handling and interpreting complex data sets.
• Experience in project delivery or energy and carbon management.
• Suitable degree in energy, environment, sustainability or built estate.

Responsabilités

• Drive reduction in energy usage and carbon emissions in estate decarbonisation programme.
• Support development of project scoping, business cases and monthly forecasting.
• Collaborate with sustainability data officer to analyse energy data and verify decarbonisation efficacy.
• Support project manager on meters upgrades and smart control systems within buildings.
• Act as liaison between estate decarbonisation projects and other projects; engage stakeholders.
