National Highways is seeking an Estates Sustainability Manager to embed the Estates Decarbonisation Plan across the E&FM division, coordinating with sites and stakeholders to cut energy, water and waste. The role requires collaboration across teams and a strong emphasis on sustainable design principles.

The post holder will contribute to the Green Network campaigns, support biodiversity and climate adaptation efforts, and help deliver sustainability strategies across multiple offices in the UK.

Qualifications

• Good organisational and project management skills.
• Strong understanding of corporate sustainability and built environment.
• Experience in environmental strategy and sustainability projects.
• Bachelor's degree in sustainability or built environment or relevant work experience.
• Demonstrate experience with carbon reduction projects and initiatives.

Responsabilités

• Embed the Estates Decarbonisation Plan to reduce emissions in energy, water and waste.
• Own the sustainability annex in the Estates & FM design guide for new builds and retrofits.
• Be the subject matter expert on environmental sustainability for E+FM projects.
• Lead the Green Network behaviour change campaign with meetings and events.
• Support the wider E+FM division on climate adaptation and biodiversity initiatives.
