Job summary

Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Mechanical trades operative to professionally support and undertake maintenance work across Trust sites. The role involves complying with safety standards, assisting with maintenance programmes, and meeting NHSLA requirements.

The position operates at Band 3 with overtime and on-call allowances, and a 37.5-hour week. Training and development within Estates Operations are possible as part of the team.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical trades operations and maintenance within healthcare facilities.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance, including Heating and Ventilation systems and Medical Gas PPMs.
• Assist with management and implementation of planned engineering/building maintenance programmes to meet NHSLA requirements and service SLAs.
• Work within the Trust's labour control scheme, complete job dockets and timesheets, and process timesheets.
