AGH Solutions Ltd. is seeking an Estates Maintenance Worker Specialist - Mechanical to maintain and repair mechanical/building services across clinical estates.

You will diagnose faults, carry out servicing and planned maintenance, and supervise Estates Assistants to ensure safe, reliable operations for patient care. The role requires formal training in mechanical/building services, including an HNC/HND or NVQ4, with strong health and safety awareness.

Qualifications

• Good GCSEs in Maths, English and Craft Studies.
• Completion of a recognised apprenticeship or 3-year training in mechanical/electrical/building services.
• Attainment of HNC/HND (NVQ4) or equivalent.
• Relevant post-qualification experience in building services or mechanical plant.
• Awareness of Health & Safety legislation and PPE usage.
• Willingness to undertake further training as required.
• Specialist training in building services or mechanical systems (water regs, boiler ops, gas safety).
• Knowledge of testing/diagnostic equipment and safe working practices.

Responsabilités

• Undertake complex fault diagnosis, repairs, servicing and maintenance of mechanical and building services systems.
• Supervise and support Estates Assistants to ensure safe and efficient maintenance delivery.
• Act as Competent Person in areas such as Healthcare Low Voltage, HVAC, Medical Gases and Mechanical Services.
• Respond to emergencies and provide out-of-hours support as part of a 24/7 shift arrangement.
• Promote health and safety compliance and safe working practices.
