Job summary
The Estates Manager will manage directly employed maintenance, grounds staff, and contractors, with support from the Estates Officers, to ensure continuous technical services for Sheffield Heath and Social Care NHS Foundation Trust and contracted organizations. The post holder will also assist in undertaking performance reviews for maintenance and grounds staff.
The role involves managing maintenance requests and records, implementing safety compliance measures, overseeing small scheme improvements (SSI), conducting site inspections/audits, and maintaining asset lifecycle registers. Additionally, the role covers documentation management for statutory compliance, performance monitoring, and budget management, ensuring procurement compliance and monitoring financial performance for value for money.
The post requires participation in the Estate Services 24-hour on-call system.
