Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd. is seeking an Estates Operative for Holton Heath. The role focuses on first-fix repairs, general maintenance, and upkeep of buildings and grounds, with a hands-on, customer‑facing element for visitors and contractors.

You’ll work with the estates team, coordinate subcontractors, and take part in ongoing training to develop technical skills. The position offers a supportive environment and long‑term career progression.

Qualifications

General maintenance or trades experience.
Practical and hands-on with good problem-solving ability.
Comfortable dealing with visitors, subcontractors, and suppliers on site.
Keen to learn and develop through ongoing training.
Reliable, approachable, and able to work well within a team.

Responsibilities

Carry out first‑fix repairs and general maintenance across the school site.
Support the upkeep and presentation of buildings, facilities, and grounds.
Assist with the coordination and supervision of subcontractors on site.
Act as a professional and approachable first point of contact for visitors and contractors.
Work closely with the estates and site management team on day‑to‑day operations.
Undertake in‑house and external training opportunities to develop technical skills.
