Job summary

Exeter College is seeking an Estates Maintenance & Services Assistant to carry out repair and maintenance across multiple Exeter sites, and to support classroom and workshop areas. You will also help move furniture and equipment to support events.

You’ll need maintenance experience, practical skills, and a strong customer service mindset. On-call duties are required roughly one week every two months, with training provided.

Estates Maintenance & Services Assistant (Exeter)

Company:

Salary: £25,563 - £27,771 + on call allowance + overtime

You’ll be carrying out repair and maintenance work across several of our Exeter sites. You’ll also work with your team-mates to prepare classroom and workshop areas, and support events by moving furniture and equipment.

You’ll need some maintenance experience and good practical skills, so that you can work on your own initiative to solve problems. You’ll also need to be great at customer service.

You’ll be on-call for around one week every 2 months to respond to emergencies but these are rare and you’ll be trained before going on-call.
